Director Bay unveils new Bumblebee

Michael Bay has given fans a sneak peek of Transformers' new look Bumblebee.

The filmmaker, who is currently working on the fourth movie in the series about shape-shifting robots, posted a picture of a sleek yellow 2014 concept Camaro on his website.

While Bumblebee - one of the benevolent Autobots - has always been a Camaro, the picture shows he will be even more cutting edge in the next instalment.

Bay posted a message with the picture, saying: "Trumpets please... Bumblebee, a 2014 Concept Camaro!... the final jewel in the Transformers 4 crown."

The new film is expected to be released in June 2014 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor and Li Bingbing.

Details about the fourth instalment are being kept under wraps, but the story will follow a group of "powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists who attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control - all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs".
