Dolphin Tale 2 seeks out old cast

Harry Connick Jr could be back for the Dolphin Tale sequel

Harry Connick Jr could be set to get back in the water for Dolphin Tale's sequel.

The star of the 2011 film is in talks to rejoin the cast for another run, taking up his role as Dr Clay Haskett again, said The Hollywood Reporter.

He could be joined by the rest of the original cast who are also in negotiations, including Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman and Kris Kristofferson.

As with the first Dolphin Tale, the sequel would be based on a true story. The original film followed a boy's friendship with Winter, a dolphin who lost her tail in a crab trap, and Dolphin Tale 2 will feature baby dolphin Hope who was rescued by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in 2010.

Winter, who still lives at the aquarium, played herself in 2011 and is expected to return for the new film, with Hope also playing herself.

Dolphin Tale 2 is expected to start shooting in the autumn.

Virgo:

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
