Don't Look Now in line for remake
Don't Look Now, but another cinema classic is in line for a remake.
The 1970s' chiller Don't Look Now, which starred Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie as a couple who appear to be haunted following the accidental death of their child, is being lined up for a makeover.
The original film, directed by Nicolas Roeg and based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier, was famous for a graphic sex scene which led to speculation its two stars had actually had sex on camera.
The Hollywood Reporter said film firm StudioCanal had signed up Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman to produce the movie.
Don't Look Now is the latest in a long line of classic films remade by Hollywood in recent years including Get Carter, The Italian Job, The Manchurian Candidate and True Grit.
