Dornan's 50 Shades 'Oscar-worthy'

Jamie Dornan deserves to win an Oscar for his performance in Fifty Shades Of Grey, the film's writer Kelly Marcel has said.

The Fall star, who portrays kinky billionaire Christian Grey in the big-screen adaptation of EL James' raunchy novel, impressed the screenwriter as he shot a particular scene where his character is described as a "popsicle", reported the Daily Mail.

"It's genius. They apparently did that scene great. Apparently Jamie is great at being soft and hard at the same time. Which is hard to do for an actor! He's going to get an Oscar!" she said at An Evening In The Writer's Room event.

During the talk, which was hosted by Iranian-American writer Reza Aslan, the Saving Mr Banks writer admitted it was quite challenging to write the sex scenes.

"I had to actually describe everything! It was really embarrassing when you're doing studio notes around the table with 12 people," she said.

Dakota Johnson plays Christian's love interest Anastasia Steele, while Rita Ora, Jennifer Ehle and Marcia Gay Harden also have roles in the film.

The Fifty Shades Of Grey film will open in cinemas in February 2015.

Sagittarius:

Working in isolation doesn't suit you. You're a social creature who gets your best ideas when collaborating with others. Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. Resign yourself to this difficult situation. If you do a good job, you'll pave the way for bigger and better assignments. Part of the problem is you lack experience. The only way to get the training you need is to do some volunteer work. Making a temporary sacrifice will eventually pay off. Be patient.More
