Dunst didn't like kissing Brad Pitt

Kirsten Dunst said kissing Brad Pitt wasn't much fun for a 12-year-old girl

Kirsten Dunst has said she didn't enjoy kissing Brad Pitt on screen.

The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance, at the age of 12, as Claudia, a woman trapped in the body of a young girl who is turned into a vampire, in the 1994 film Interview With The Vampire.

"It was just a peck," she told Bullett magazine.

"I remember Brad would watch lots of Real World episodes. He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, 'You're so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,' but I thought it was disgusting.

"I didn't kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer."

This year, Kirsten stars with Jim Sturgess in dystopian love story Upside Down, directed by Juan Solanas.

"The script was sparse, but Juan showed me some of his computer-generated ideas," she revealed. "He was such a romantic director... I just knew he was going to make a visual masterpiece."
