Eastwood casts Jersey Boys supports
Clint Eastwood has announced two castings for his screen adaptation of musical Jersey Boys.
Jeremy Luke and Joey Russo have been named for two supporting parts in the film about Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons directed by Clint, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The pair, who are friends in real life and moved from Staten Island to Los Angeles together, will join Christopher Walken who has been cast as Jersey mobster Angelo "Gyp" DeCarlo and is the only big name in the film.
Jeremy will play loan shark Donnie who is trying to get money from Frankie and Joey will play Joe "Joey" Pesci who helped to create the group.
Clint is apparently in negotiations to cast up-and-coming actors in the main roles for the film, which is being executive produced by Frankie Valli.
Broadway musical Jersey Boys won four Tony Awards when it opened in 2006 and has grossed more than 1.2 billion dollars worldwide.
Joey is set to appear in sports comedy Lucky N#mbr, while Jeremy has been cast in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directing debut Don Jon.
