Clint Eastwood is reportedly hoping to cast his Jersey Boys film with stage stars

Clint Eastwood is reportedly looking to cast Jersey Boys stars from around the world in his film adaptation.

According to Deadline he is directing the film version of the hit musical show but wants theatre stars to take the lead parts rather than big Hollywood names.

He is rumoured to be considering actors who are already in the show in musicals around the world.

The show about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons opened on Broadway in 2005 and won four Tony awards and a Grammy, plus an Olivier award after opening in the West End in 2008.

Frankie Valli and Four Seasons star Bob Gaudio will be executive producing the film.

It is due to start shooting this summer.

Team up with someone who has experience with managing large organisations. You're good at handling the small details, but should rely on someone else to keep the big picture in sight.More
