Production on Jane Got A Gun, written by Brian Duffield, is scheduled to begin in February 2013.
Australian actor Joel, who swapped blows opposite Tom Hardy in Mixed Martial Arts film Warrior, will next be seen in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby and Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty.
