Efron heads for a fantasy Falling
Zac Efron is in talks to star in fantasy thriller The Falling.
The Lucky One actor is planning to team up with Oscar-winning writer Akiva Goldsman for the Warner Bros supernatural project, which he would star in and co-produce with Akiva, reported Heat Vision blog.
Details about Zac's role is being kept under wraps, and the story is said to be "an edgy thriller focusing around an otherworldly being".
The search for a screenwriter to pen the script is now under way.
Zac, who previously starred in High School Musical, Hairspray and New Year's Eve, will next be seen in Lee Daniels' The Paperboy opposite Nicole Kidman, and At Any Price with Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham.
Akiva, who won an Oscar for writing A Beautiful Mind, has wrapped his directorial debut with the fantasy film Winter's Tale starring Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe, which he wrote, directed and produced.
