Ejiofor's Yellow Sun delay ends

Film distributors have said Half Of A Yellow Sun will premier in Nigeria on August 1 after months of delays because censors warned it could undermine national security and demanded cuts and edits.
It was unclear what changes have been made to the film - starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Thandie Newton - to satisfy the censors.
The movie is partly set during Nigeria's 1960s civil war, which remains a sensitive subject. And it comes as the country confronts an Islamic uprising that again threatens to tear it apart as tensions increase between Muslims and Christians in Africa's most populous nation.
The movie has been cleared for viewing by people over 18 years old.
In a statement, producers Shareman media and FilmOne Distribution thanked Nigerians for their patience. The movie had originally been slated to premier in April.
