Emily Browning heads to Pompeii

Emily Browning will apparently star opposite Kit Harrington in Pompeii

Emily Browning is apparently set to star in Paul W S Anderson's historical adventure Pompeii.

The Sucker Punch star will join Game Of Thrones heartthrob Kit Harrington in the film from the Resident Evil director, according to movie blog Dark Horizons.

Set in 79 AD, Kit will play slave Milo who wants to marry his master's daughter, played by Emily, but is sold to a different owner, while the daughter has already been promised to a corrupt Roman senator.

Soon after Mount Vesuvius erupts, Milo returns to Pompeii to rescue his love and his gladiator friend trapped in the city's coliseum.

Downton Abbey's Julian Fellowes has co-written the script with Lee Batchler and Janet Scott Batchler.

Filming is due to begin in April for release in 2014.

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
