Ender's Game cast step out for film
Harrison Ford arrived in the UK for a special screening of his new sci-fi film Ender's Game.
The Indiana Jones star was joined by his younger co-stars Hailee Steinfeld and Asa Butterfield, as well as Sir Ben Kingsley on the red carpet at the Odeon Leicester Square in London's West End, which was part of the MCM London Comic Con.
Oscar-nominated True Grit actress Hailee chose a monochrome striped top and skirt by Thakoon Addition, which she teamed with black McQ boots, while Asa went for a camouflage-print jacket and jeans.
Asa, who plays the lead role of Ender Wiggin, admitted he was slightly star-struck when he met Harrison, saying: "I was a big fan of Star Wars and Indiana Jones. So on the first day it was nerve-wracking but you soon get used to it."
The appreciation was mutual as Harrison (Colonel Graff) revealed: "Asa is enormously gifted. He is hard-working and focused. I'm proud to have worked on a film like this with such a great cast."
Hailee, who plays Asa's military colleague Petra Arkanian, added: "It was a lot of fun and certainly more challenging than my other two films."
The stars, as well as director Gavin Hood, producer Roberto Orci and Gigi Pritzker, took part in a question and answer session with fans where they were asked about their characters and the casting.
"It was very cathartic to speak to the fans, but I was terrified before," admitted the South African filmmaker.
Ender's Game will be released in UK cinemas on October 25.
