Eva Mendes has reportedly joined the cast of her boyfriend Ryan Gosling's new film.
The Spirit actress - who has been dating the Gangster Squad star for more than a year - has apparently landed a part in How To Catch A Monster, which Ryan will direct.
Eva is said to be playing a character called Cat, reported Bloody Disgusting.
Rob Zabrecky has also apparently been cast in the movie, which will mark Ryan's directorial debut.
How To Catch A Monster is said to mix elements of fantasy noir, horror and suspense into a modern day fairytale.
It follows single mother Billy, played by Ryan's Drive co-star Christina Hendricks, and her son Bones, who find themselves fighting separately for survival in a vanishing city.
Shooting is due to begin in May.
