Evans to make directorial debut
Chris Evans is set to make his debut as a director with indie drama 1:30 Train.
The Captain America actor, who will also star in and produce the new movie, intends to start shooting in the autumn, reported Deadline.
Written by Ron Bass, 1:30 Train - described as a romance in the vein of Before Sunrise - centres on two strangers who meet in New York and spend a night together.
Chris has showed off his acting chops in darker material such as The Iceman and the upcoming Snowpiercer.
The 32-year-old is to reprise his superhero role as Captain America in the upcoming sequel The Winter Soldier, and for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which begins filming in 2014.
