Evans to star in Snow Piercer?

Chris Evans has been filming thriller The Ice Man

Chris Evans is apparently in talks to headline sci-fi thriller Snow Piercer.

The Captain America: The First Avenger star is said to be considering a role in Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho's English language debut, reported Variety.

Set in a post-apocalyptic winter world and based on Jacques Lob's French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, Snow Piercer follows a train full of survivors who are battling to stay alive.

Korean actor Song Kang-Ho, who previously starred in Bong's Memories Of Murder, has already cast in the film, with other co-stars to be announced shortly.

Filming is expected to get underway in March.

Chris - who is set to reprise his superhero role in Joss Whedon's The Avengers - has been filming crime thriller The Ice Man, in which he portrays mentor assassin Robert Pronge.
