Farrell finds Solace with Hopkins

Colin Farrell would play an FBI detective in Solace

Colin Farrell could be teaming up with Sir Anthony Hopkins for supernatural thriller Solace.

The Irish star is in talks to play a FBI detective who brings in Anthony's character - a former doctor with psychic abilities - to help them with a serial killer case, reported Deadline.

Afonso Poyart is set to direct, with filming to start in May.

Colin - last seen in Martin McDonagh's Seven Psychopaths - has completed the supernatural fantasy Winter's Tale and the Walt Disney story Saving Mr Banks.

He is attached to star opposite Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain in the film adaptation of stage play Miss Julie, and will next be seen in thriller Dead Man Down with Noomi Rapace.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
