Fassbender's Creed 'finds director'

Michael Fassbender could be reunited with director Justin Kurzel on his upcoming film Assassin's Creed.

The 12 Years A Slave star has already signed up for the big screen version of the best-selling computer game series and now it seems filmmaker Justin - who recently worked with the actor on an adaptation of Macbeth - might be getting on board.

Deadline reported that he is currently in talks about directing the film.

Assassin's Creed will see Michael play Desmond Miles, a bartender who is sent back in time to retrieve historical artefacts after learning his ancestors were trained assassins.

The actor will also be a co-producer on the film.

Michael has the title role in the Macbeth adaptation, which also stars Marion Cotillard, Sean Harris, Paddy Considine, Elizabeth Debicki and David Thewlis.

Both movies are due to be released in 2015.
