Fassbender’s ex-girlfriend seeks restraining order
Michael Fassbender's ex-girlfriend is seeking a restraining order against the Irish actor who she claims broke her nose — in spite of the fact that he is filming 6,000 miles away.
Fassbender's former partner Sunawin Andrews filed a petition for a restraining order against him earlier this month in LA County Superior Court. The petition came some nine months after the alleged attack.
Andrews claimed that she was “fearful” of the Killarney man following what she described as a booze-fuelled rage after a film festival last July, where she alleges that he woke up soaked in his own urine, and “threw me over a chair breaking my nose”.
She says Fassbender allegedly dragged her alongside their car one night after they had an argument about one of her ex-boyfriends. She is requesting that Inglourious Basterds star Fassbender cannot come within 100 yards of her or her two children, as well as seeking £15,000 to help pay her medical bills from alleged injuries.
Fassbender is currently filming Jane Eyre in England.
Fassbender's father Josef said: “I don't know where she is getting this story from. Michael is the most gentle man you could ever meet.”
