Will Ferrell has revealed he was starstruck when Harrison Ford appeared on the Anchorman 2 set.
The star of movies such as Ender's Game, Star Wars and Blade Runner turned up to film a cameo for the upcoming sequel, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
"We worked a 16-hour-long day with him, and the whole day we just couldn't believe it was Harrison Ford!" Will told Total Film.
The actor, who reprised his Anchorman alter-ego Ron Burgundy for the MTV Europe Music Awards in Amsterdam, couldn't believe Harrison had signed on for a role.
He added: "It's stupid why he would want to do it. Bless him."
Will, who also co-wrote the film with director Adam McKay and is one of the producers, said filming the follow-up to the 2004 comedy has been more fun than work.
Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and David Koechner are among the returning cast members, who will be joined by newcomers such as James Marsden, Kristen Wiig and Greg Kinnear.
"The great thing is we've all done so many movies since Anchorman, so there's much more of a comfort level," he explained.
"Everyone's actually got better at improvising and knowing these characters. With the sequel, it's a real opportunity, especially with such a time gap, to be as crazy and have as much fun as we want."
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will open on December 20.
