Ferrell, Reilly to be Border Guards

Will Ferrell and John C Reilly are set to reunite on the big screen in comedy Border Guards.

The Step Brothers stars will play two hapless friends, who decide to protect America's borders from illegal immigrants - but in doing so, find themselves accidentally stranded in Mexico and have to sneak across the divide themselves.

Jesse Armstrong, the Oscar-nominated writer behind In The Loop, Peep Show and Fresh Meat, will write the film, which will be directed by Adam McKay.

Will and John previously shared screen time in Talladega Nights and Step Brothers, although they have also appeared together in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and Tim And Eric's Billion Dollar Movie.

Will, who starred in The Lego Movie, will next be seen in comedies Welcome To Me and Get Hard, while John's upcoming films include drama Life After Beth and Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy.
