William Fichtner has promised the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is "unlike any turtles you've ever seen!"
The Crossing Lines star plays villain The Shredder in the new movie directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, and he revealed the special effects outshadow the hit cartoon and film of the eighties.
William said: "Turtles baby! The big green machine! W hen the offer came along for it I was like 'Wow! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'. I remember that from nieces and nephews and my older son, that was really something for kids that grew up in the eighties, they know Turtles!
"But it always had the bounce, that kind of animated sort of thing, that's not this. This is unlike any Turtles you've ever seen, these Turtles are true mutants and it's a live action and it's cool, it's really cool."
But The Lone Ranger star revealed he didn't have to become a martial arts expert for the role.
"We have amazing stunt doubles," he confessed. "Will Fichtner's not doing any standing still back flips! But the guy who was my stunt double does.
"It really is something, they're truly great, I've seen the art work. You've never seen anything like this, they're freaky, they're cool!"
