Fiennes ready to revisit Russia

Ralph Fiennes is willing to learn Russian for a role in A Month In The Country

Ralph Fiennes is in talks to star in another adaptation of 19th-century Russian literature.

This time, the two-time Oscar nominee is eyeing up a role in Vera Glagoleva's big-screen adaptation of Ivan Turgenev's 1872 play A Month In The Country, and is even prepared to learn Russian for the part.

The film's producer Natalie Ivanova revealed to Screen Daily that she had met with the British actor to speak about the possibility of him playing Rakitin, the devoted but resentful admirer of a rich landowner's wife.

He told her that he would study the language for that realistic performance, but she is currently trying to find European funding.

Ralph, best known for portraying Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort, previously played Evgeny Onegin in his younger sister Martha Fiennes' 1999 film Onegin, based on Alexander Pushkin's epic verse novel.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
