Dame Helen Mirren is to be honoured at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The Oscar-winning actress will be given the International Star Award at the event, which is now in its 24th year, Variety reported.
Festival chairman Harold Matzner said: "With more than four decades' worth of memorable film, television and stage performances, Helen Mirren continues to be one of the most outstanding actresses of her generation."
The award - which has previously been presented to Javier Bardem and Gary Oldman - will be given to Dame Helen on January 5.
Dame Helen currently stars alongside Sir Anthony Hopkins in the biopic Hitchcock.
