Fincher 'wants Bale for Jobs film'

Christian Bale could play Steve Jobs in a new film

Christian Bale could be set to play Steve Jobs on the big screen.

Filmmaker David Fincher has been in negotiations about directing a movie about the late Apple co-founder, and The Wrap has reported that Batman star Christian is his first choice for the lead role.

Fincher apparently told Sony during a meeting that he would only take the reins if Christian was cast as Jobs.

However, the American Hustle actor has yet to be offered the part in the as-yet-untitled biopic so it isn't known whether he would sign up.

The film was written by Aaron Sorkin.

It comes after last year's Jobs, which saw Ashton Kutcher play the tech genius.

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
