Firth returns after Oscars triumph

Colin Firth arrives back from Los Angeles following his Oscar triumph on Sunday

Colin Firth has returned home, days after being crowned king of Hollywood at the Academy Awards.

The Oscar-winning star and his Italian wife, Livia Giuggioli, arrived at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 on Wednesday.

The King's Speech took four awards at Sunday's Academy Awards, including best actor for Colin.

The relatively low-budget British film, about King George VI's attempt to overcome his stutter, also won best picture, best director and best original screenplay.

Accepting his award, Colin threatened to dance with joy and thanked his wife, who he admitted had put up with his "fleeting delusions of royalty".

He told the audience: "I have a feeling my career has just peaked."

The 50-year-old actor, who missed out on the Oscar he was nominated for last year for A Single Man, thanked his British fans, paying tribute to "all the people who have been rooting for me back home".

Virgo:

You'll have to make an emotional appeal to your boss. Unless things change, you might have to find another job. You're a very tolerant person, but you can't handle toxic behaviour. A colleague who takes great pleasure in making everyone feel miserable should be reprimanded. Make it clear you aren't the only person who is suffering from their abuse. Explain how this bully is ruining morale. It's a system wide problem that needs to be nipped in the bud.More
