Isla Fisher has revealed she was "axed" from The Simpsons Movie.
The Rise Of The Guardians actress lent her voice to a cameo role, but didn't make the final cut unlike Tom Hanks and Green Day.
"I was cut out! Heartbreakingly I was axed," she recalled.
"I played someone like a consultant who came in to prepare all the characters for the fact the world was ending. It was so funny. I got to do it with the real actors and so it was exciting. They all said: 'You did such a great job!' But then they cut me, so clearly they were not telling the truth."
Isla - a former Home And Away actress - admitted she has never seen the finished product: "I never saw the movie, actually. I was too bitter. I'm a huge Simpsons fan, so I was devastated. I thought that was the end of my career in animation."
The 36-year-old, who is married to British comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen, also revealed that their two children - five-year-old Olive and Elula, two - don't realise she's a working mum.
"They don't know what I do. I've been so lucky and strategic in the way that I've chosen to work - I work quite rarely and don't take leading roles any more. While my munchkins are really small, I don't want to miss anything," she explained.
"No one really notices, so everyone thinks I'm a stay-at-home mum, and don't work at all," she added.
:: Rise Of The Guardians opens in cinemas on November 30.
