Fox and Wilson join Bone Tomahawk

Patrick Wilson and Matthew Fox are to star in violent thriller Bone Tomahawk.

The pair have joined Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins in the film about four men trying to rescue a group of captives from a band of cannibals, reported Deadline.

Patrick is to play "thoughtful cowboy and foreman of a cattle outfit" Arthur O'Dwyer, while Lost star Matthew has been cast as John Brooder, an "eloquent gentleman" with dark inclinations.

S Craig Zahler will make his directorial debut with Bone Tomahawk, which he also wrote.

Patrick, who starred in horror movies Insidious: Chapter 2 and The Conjuring, left the cast of Marvel's Ant-Man, due to scheduling conflicts.

Matthew, who starred in World War II drama Emperor and Alex Cross, will next be seen in zombie horror Welcome To Harmony.
