Franco to Stare out Winona Ryder
James Franco and Winona Ryder are to star together in new psychological thriller The Stare.
Black Swan star Winona has been cast as a playwright who is haunted by dreams and visions of being watched as she struggles to launch her new production, leaving her wondering if she is the victim of a manipulative plot or suffering a mental breakdown.
Oscar nominee James will play one of the actors in her new play, Deadline reports.
The Stare is being directed by Jay Anania who has worked with James before on his film Shadows And Lies, and heads the directing course at NYU's graduate film school, where he has taught the 127 Hours star.
James is also on board the project as a producer.
The film will begin shooting on May 6 in New York.
