James Franco's younger brother Dave has been cast in magician heist thriller Now You See Me.

Dave will join Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Isla Fisher as one of illusionists and bank robbers The Four Horsemen, Deadline reports.

The team of the world's greatest illusionists are being hunted by the FBI for the daring bank heists they stage during their performances, showering their audience with the profits.

Dave has appeared in Scrubs and had a few minor TV and film roles. He is currently shooting Warm Bodies with Nicholas Hoult, John Malkovich and Teresa Palmer, and stars in 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum which is out next year.

MTV Networks' NextMovie.com named him one of the Breakout Stars to Watch for in 2011.

Now Your See Me will also star Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and Melanie Laurent.

Mark will play the head of the FBI team investigating the heists, while Morgan will play a former magician who advises the FBI on how the tricks were pulled off and Melanie one of the federal agents.

Clash of the Titans' Louis Leterrier is directing the film.
