Morgan Freeman is set to join the cast of Johnny Depp's new sci-fi movie.
The Hollywood star is in final negotiations about a role in Transcendence, which will mark the directorial debut of Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister, reported Variety.
The pair have worked together before when Wally was employed on Christopher Nolan's Batman films, which Morgan starred in.
It's not known who Morgan, 75, will play in the movie as the plot is largely under wraps, although it has been revealed that Johnny will star as a scientist who has his brain uploaded into a computer, .
Paul Bettany, Kate Mara and Rebecca Hall also have roles in the thriller.
