Friel and Poot to play Soho queens
Anna Friel, Imogen Poots and Tamsin Egerton have all signed up to star in new British indie film The King Of Soho.
The biopic of porn baron Paul Raymond is being directed by Michael Winterbottom and will star Steve Coogan as Raymond.
Anna will play his wronged wife Jean, a former show dancer, Tamsin will play his mistress, vicar's daughter gone bad Fiona Richmond, and Imogen will play his daughter Debbie, The Daily Mail reports.
Debbie became her father's confidante but broke his heart when she died of a heroin overdose in 1992.
Fright Night star Imogen revealed: "She was very tragic. She was so clever, but addiction to drugs got her."
The film is adapted from Paul Willet's biography, Paul Raymond's Wonderful World Of Erotica.
Raymond was known as the 'King of Soho' after he opened Britain's first strip club the Raymond Revue Bar in Soho in London in 1958, and published magazines Razzle, Mayfair and Men Only. He died a multimillionaire recluse in 2008.
