Fury Road set for 2015 release

The fourth Mad Max movie Fury Road is set for release in 2015 - nearly three years after shooting began, according to reports.

Variety said that the movie began shooting in summer 2013 with stars Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and Charlize Theron.

It said that Warner Bros has now announced the movie, directed by George Miller, will be released on May 15, 2015.

Mel Gibson starrred in Mad Max in 1979. The second film, The Road Warrior, came out in 1982, while Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome followed three years later.

Tom has most recently hit the big screen in thriller Locke, and has also been working on Child 44 and Rocketman. Nicholas has been back in his Beast role on X-Men: Days Of Future Past, while Charlize has been working on Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways To Die In The West.
