Garcia and Romano to Rob The Mob

Andy Garcia is set to star in Rob The Mob

Andy Garcia and Ray Romano have signed up to new gangster drama Rob The Mob.

Boardwalk Empire's Michael Pitt and relative newcomer Nina Arianda star in the real-life story of a couple who rob from mob-controlled social clubs in New York.

They come across a list of every gangster in town and become the targets both of organised crime and the FBI, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Godfather Part III star Andy and Everybody Loves Raymond's Ray have now joined the cast, but it is not confirmed whether they will play mobsters or FBI agents.

Andy worked with director Raymond De Felitta on his last film, indie comedy City Island, which won critical acclaim on the festival circuit in 2009.
