Garner set to take a Draft Day

Jennifer Garner is being lined up for a role in Draft Day

Jennifer Garner is in talks to star in sports drama Draft Day.

The Daredevil star is said to be "in negotiations" to join Kevin Costner in Ivan Reitman's upcoming film, reported Variety.

Kevin is already on board to play Sonny Weaver, the manager of American football team Buffalo Bills, and Jennifer is tipped to be cast in the role of his secretary.

The film, which was written by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman, takes place on the day of the NFL Draft, when the manager tries to salvage his team by trading for the number one pick. But he must choose whether he's willing to make personal and professional sacrifices in order to achieve success on the field.

Jennifer, who has three children with Oscar-winning husband Ben Affleck, will next be seen in The Odd Life Of Timothy Green with Joel Edgerton and Dianne Wiest, and in The Dallas Buyers Club with Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto.
