Gavin Henson to make film debut?
Gavin Henson is considering swapping the rugby pitch and reality TV for the big screen, according to reports.
The Cardiff Blues player - who last starred in The Bachelor - is apparently in talks to appear in British romantic comedy, Lord Owen's Lady, alongside fellow Welshman Sir Anthony Hopkins and Slumdog Millionaire actress Rubina Ali.
The 30-year-old's agent Matthew Ginvert confirmed that he had met up with producers, telling the Daily Mail: "He has held a meeting with producers but we haven't heard back from them, he hasn't signed anything."
Thirteen-year-old Rubina, who portrayed the young version of Freida Pinto's character Latika in Danny Boyle's Oscar-winning film, revealed that while she's unaware of who he is, she's thrilled with the possibility of acting alongside Gavin.
"I have heard he is a huge star and very handsome - I am really excited," she said.
Gavin, who has two children with ex-girlfriend Charlotte Church, has appeared in reality TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing and 71 Degrees North.
