George Clooney's doubts over 3D

George Clooney says he's not sure about his 3D film debut

George Clooney has admitted to having doubts over his forthcoming appearance in full 3D glory.

The Ides Of March star is set to make his three-dimensional debut in Alfonso Cuaron's sci-fi adventure Gravity, alongside Sandra Bullock.

"It is the first time I've been in 3D and, hopefully, the last time," he told USA Today.

Though he hasn't actually seen it, George revealed: "It's not near ready yet. They just showed the first cut to the studio."

Set in a remote space station, Gravity - which is scheduled for release next winter - sees the duo (George as the team leader and Sandra as a female colleague) struggling to stay alive and return back to earth after an exploding satellite kills the other members of their crew.

"It's a two-hander with only two actors in the whole film," George explained.

"It is a very odd film, really. Two people in space. No monsters. It's more like 2001 than an action film," he added.
