George pulls out of Man From UNCLE?

George Clooney is apparently no longer starring in the film

George Clooney is apparently no longer the Man From U.N.C.L.E.

The Hollywood star is rumoured to be withdrawing from the role in Steven Soderbergh's spy drama, reported Deadline.

It is not known why the Up In The Air actor, who previously collaborated with the filmmaker on the Ocean's Eleven films and Out Of Sight, has made the decision to leave the film, which is based on the 60s TV series starring Robert Vaughn and David McCallum as the employees of a fictitious secret international espionage and law-enforcement agency called U.N.C.L.E.

Despite George's departure, The Man From UNCLE is still scheduled to start production in February 2012.

Warner Bros has been trying to get the film off the ground for several years, which is expected to be given a "fresh start".

Writer Scott Z Burns told Cinema Blend: "I think if people know the show they'll recognise tiny little things. Our affair comes from something that was actually going on in the world at the time."

If you're not able to provide them with the luxuries they crave, there will be problems. Then again, you have the potential for being a good provider, so all may be well.More
