Gerard Butler looks set to star in new thriller Manhunt.
The Scottish actor - who has previously shown off his action man skills in movies such as 300 and Law Abiding Citizen - is in "advanced negotiations" about a role in the upcoming film, reports Deadline.
Manhunt follows a team of FBI agents who are sent to the wilderness to hunt down a terrorist with the help of a reluctant bear hunter.
So far it isn't known which role Gerard, 42, would play in the movie, which will be directed by Breck Eisner.
Production on Manhunt is due to start towards the end of this year.
