Ghostbusters is being re-released in UK cinemas to mark its 30th anniversary.

The 1984 movie - starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis - hits the milestone this year, so to celebrate it will be screened in cinemas in the UK for one day only.

It has already been announced that a restored and remastered version of the movie will be in hundreds of US and Canadian cinemas in August, and now Digital Spy has reported that it will be on UK screens on Tuesday, October 28.

Sony Pictures has already released a trailer for the much-loved film's new cinema run.

A Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Edition and Ghostbusters II 25th Anniversary Edition will also be unveiled on Blu-ray on year.

Special events and new collectible merchandise are also expected to be released to mark the anniversary.
