Gina Carono has said she's up for more movie roles after being the leading lady in Haywire.

The mixed martial arts star acts alongside Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas and Ewan McGregor in Steven Soderbergh's action flick, in which she plays hard-kicking special operations agent Mallory Kane.

Gina revealed at the Berlin International Film Festival: "This was an incredible experience, and I think I can do a lot more."

She added: "I'd be lying if I said I never wanted to this again - it was a dream, I can't support myself in fight for ever, and I know that, so maybe I can get something else going here."

The 29-year-old - who is set to receive the first ever Chick Norris award in recognition of being a female action star who exhibits "the attitude, spirit, athleticism and grit of Hollywood legend Chuck Norris" - made the comments as it was revealed that she is in talks to land her next big-screen role in action thriller In The Blood.

Directed by John Stockwell, she is tipped to play a wife who goes on a revenge mission against her husband's kidnappers in the film, described as being in the same vein as Taken.

"This role will showcase not only Gina's fighting skills, but also her acting abilities as her character struggles to reign in her violent past," the director told The Hollywood Reporter.

Trust your instincts regarding moneymaking offers. If a job seems too good to be true, it probably is. Working as part of a campaigning team will suit you down to the ground. You're more motivated to help people than turn big profits. Some friends will discourage you from entering such a field, fearing it won't be lucrative. Don't worry. You'll make a very good salary by doing what you love. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be miserable to earn a good living.More
