Girls Aloud's Nadine Coyle could be Wossed in translation
Thursday, 23 October 2008
The Derry accent may have left him confused, but Nadine Coyle will be back on the Jonathan Ross show this weekend.
The sexy singer and the rest of Girls Aloud have been invited back to perform new single The Promise on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
It’ll be the first time Nadine has appeared on the show since Wossy told her that he couldn’t understand her accent.
Nadine and the rest of the girls were being interviewed by the chat show host last year when he singled her out and told her: “Sorry, I can’t understand you.”
But Nadine got her own back on the presenter by mocking his famous inability to pronounce the letter R.
However London-born Wossy should be careful not to comment on her twang again — after a new Travelodge poll found the Northern Irish accent to be the sexiest in the UK. The London accent was voted the least liked.
Jonathan will also be joined by actors Daniel Craig and Tony Curtis and singer Grace Jones.

Nadine's accent is the worst I have ever heard! Thankfully we dont hear her talk too often! Our accent is lovely in general and credit to Christine and James who were mentioned in the poll! But Nadine!! I've never heard anything worse and I use to think Liverpool and Birmingham were bad!
