Glee's Dianna Agron joins Malavita

Dianna Agron will play a gangster's daughter in Malavita

Dianna Agron has joined Luc Besson's action comedy Malavita.

The Glee star, best known for playing singer Quinn Fabray in the hit TV show, and young actor John D'Leo are the latest additions to the upcoming film alongside Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones.

Filming has begun in Normandy, France, on the movie, which stars Robert and Michelle as a married Mafia couple, who try to behave themselves while in witness protection, but old habits die hard.

Dianna and John are tipped to play their children in the big-screen adaptation of Tonino Benacquista's Badfellas.

Malavita, which is also due to shoot in New York and Paris, will be released in 2013.

Dianna, 26, has previously appeared in films such as I Am Number Four and Burlesque.
