Goode to get 'Stoked' for new role?

Matthew Goode starred in the Zach Snyder film Watchmen

Matthew Goode is in talks to take the male lead in Stoker, it has been reported.

The Watchmen actor is tipped to play the role of the mysteriously named uncle, which Colin Firth had previously been linked to, in Oldboy director Park Chan-Wook's English language debut, Variety's Showblitz blog said.

Alice In Wonderland starlet Mia Wasikowska portrays a teenage girl who, while mourning the death of her father must deal with the sudden appearance of an uncle, as people go missing in her hometown at the same time.

Nicole Kidman has been cast as her mother.

Prison Break star Wentworth Miller wrote the script for the fantasy fairytale under the pseudonym Ted Foulke, with Ridley and Tony Scott taking on producing parts.

Since Zack Snyder's Watchmen, Matthew, who played Adrian Veidt (Ozymandias), has had roles in A Single Man, Leap Year and Cemetery Junction.

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
