Goodman cast in September 11 film

John Goodman will star in a new post-9/11 drama

John Goodman is joining the cast of post-9/11 drama Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

The Roseanne star will play a doorman in Stephen Daldry's film about ten-year-old Oskar, who loses his father in the September 11 attacks and embarks on a cathartic journey to cope with his loss.

John's character works in Oskar's apartment building and goes on a trip to exhume the father's coffin, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks are also starring in the film, an adaptation of the Jonathan Safran Foer novel.

The tale sees Oskar scouring New York for information about the lock-box key his father leaves behind, and meeting a variety of people on his journey.

The film has been adapted for the screen by Eric Roth and is expected to begin filming in the winter.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
