Jon Hamm is set to lend his vocal talents to Despicable Me spin-off, Minions.

The Mad Men star is in talks to voice one of the lead roles in the upcoming animated 3D feature, which will be directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, reported Deadline.

Sandra Bullock has already signed on to the movie, where she will be the main villain.

Details about the movie are under wraps, although a December 2014 release is on the cards.

Jon, who has reprised his role as advertising executive Don Draper in the latest series of Mad Men, is no stranger to voice work having lent his voice to Shrek Forever After, The Simpsons and Family Guy.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
