Hammer's stunt bloopers on Ranger

Armie Hammer has said there were some hairy moments on The Lone Ranger set when he was filming stunts.

The actor, who plays Lone Ranger John Reid alongside Johnny Depp as Tonto, revealed his stunts had not always run smoothly.

He said: "There were definitely a couple of shots I can think of where I was told, 'You're supposed to do this, you're supposed to do that, then this is going to happen' and you pull something out or you say something and then you go, 'oh wait, I said that line wrong.'

"But they've already triggered the horses out over there to cause a stampede and there would be villagers running and then you're just going, 'Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,' and you just feel so bad."

There were some stunts Armie felt proud of, though: "I gotta say I can lasso a gatling gun, that's a pretty good one. It was a real buffalo hide lasso and it was a real gatling gun, firing blanks."

Disney's The Lone Ranger is out in cinemas now.
