Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner could be joining forces once again for the Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters sequel.
The pair starred in the action-packed re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm tale, which saw the sibling duo grow up to become professional witch killers.
Deadline reported that the follow-up has been given the green light after the film crossed the 200 million US dollars mark at the global box office, although it has not been confirmed if the stars will reprise their roles for the second instalment.
Paramount and MGM have confirmed that the sequel is "in development", with details under wraps.
Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Kevin Messick and Beau Flynn are expected to return as producers for the second film, but it is not known if Tommy Wirkola - who wrote and directed the first movie, which has made over 205.8 million US dollars worldwide - would take the reins for the sequel.
