Harington finds Testament Of Youth
Kit Harington could reunite with Alicia Vikander in the drama Testament Of Youth.
The Game Of Thrones star has signed on to BBC Films' big-screen adaptation of Vera Brittain's memoir, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Swedish actress Alicia is tipped to play British writer Vera, while the 27-year-old Worcester-born actor would portray her fiance.
The book, published in 1933, tells how the author postponed her studies at Oxford to serve as a nurse in the First World War. When she returned to university after the war, she became a feminist and pacifist.
James Kent, who has directed episodes of BBC drama series The White Queen, will take the reins on Testament Of Youth, with Harry Potter and Gravity producer David Heyman on production duties.
Kit, who plays Jon Snow in the medieval fantasy series Game Of Thrones, previously worked with Alicia on the fantasy Seventh Son, which is scheduled for release in 2015.
He will next star in Paul W S Anderson's disaster movie Pompeii. He is also attached to spy thriller Spooks, alongside Peter Firth and Jennifer Ehle.
