Harris: Bond lessens 'minger' fears
Naomie Harris has admitted that being a Bond girl has boosted her self-esteem.
The British actress confessed that she sometimes worries that she looks like "a minger" but feels better when she reminds herself that she was picked to star opposite 007 Daniel Craig as Eve Moneypenny in Skyfall, reported Metro.
She said: "When you get those moments when you feel, 'Oh God, I look like such a minger today', then you think, 'I was cast as a Bond girl... you can't really be that much of a minger, Naomie!'."
She added that having been one of Bond's screen ladies makes her feel "pretty darn good".
After Skyfall, Naomie went on to star as Winnie Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
The 37-year-old actress admitted to Total Film that she had some worries about the part but felt better after she was able to talk to the real Winnie.
"I asked how she wanted to be portrayed and she said, 'You've done your research, you were chosen for this role, I trust you.' It allowed me to own it," she said.
