Hasty Pudding honour for Cotillard

Marion Cotillard won this year's Hasty Pudding prize

Marion Cotillard performed a song from her movie La Vie En Rose as she was named woman of the year by Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

The French actress, who won the 2007 best actress Oscar for her portrayal of singer Edith Piaf in the film, received her pudding pot during the event, which is held every year and honours stars who have made a lasting and impressive contribution to entertainment.

Marion smiled, waved and caught a teddy bear from the crowd during a parade through Cambridge's Harvard Square.

The procession was followed by a roast of the 37-year-old actress at Hasty Pudding headquarters, during which she performed.

Claire Danes was the woman of the year in 2012.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals is America's oldest undergraduate drama troupe.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
